Isaiah 58:8 Then your light shall break forth like the morning, Your healing shall spring forth speedily, And your righteousness shall go before you; The glory of the Lord shall be your rear guard.

God's desire is to see to it that we walk in the fullness of all that He has ordained for us. Nobody, who is connected to God should walk in darkness, you can fast for light. Understand that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all, so being His children, we are light and have access to His light as well. 

The next thing in our opening scripture is that your healing will spring up. God is saying to you that has you fast and pray, the healing power of God will flow to you. The healing will spring up speedily in you, you will be shocked at the response of your body system in health. 

The next thing that God's righteousness will be made manifest in your life. Evidently, you will walk in God's righteousness and nothing will be able to stop your progress. The reason you will make shocking progress because of the righteousness before you. This means that nothing can be against you. 

Finally, God's glory will be seen in your life by all men. This is what Isaiah was saying, "arise, shine for your light has come". The next thing is that God's glory will be seen and people begin to come to you. So as we embark on fasting and prayers, don't let anything discourage you, fast and pray.
