UNDERSTANDING BY BOOKS - Pt Two
Daniel 9:2 In the first year of his reign I, Daniel, understood by the books the number of the years specified by the word of the Lord through Jeremiah the prophet, that He would accomplish seventy years in the desolations of Jerusalem.
If you can read and you don't read, you are not different from those who cannot read. Reading culture is part of our Christian faith, you must be committed to reading. God told Joshua to read what Moses wrote, this showed clearly that He is interested in knowledge.
Joshua 1:8 This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.
You cannot be confessing what you have not read. Everyone who did exploit in the Kingdom were people of knowledge. Paul told Timothy to study to show himself approved of God. The reason many people see reading as a burden is because they were forced to read for academic success and not for knowledge.
Revelation 1:11 saying, “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last,” and, “What you see, write in a book and send it to the seven churches which are in Asia..."
God told John the revelator, what he see, he should write it. The purpose of writing is for others to be able to read the same. God's word was spoken so that it can be written and was written so that it can be read and be spoken. The LORD said " My people have gone into captivity for lack of knowledge". Today, structure your life to accommodate reading.

The Bloodline of a Victor
1 John 5:4-5 NKJV For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world-our faith. [5] Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?
