Proverbs 3:9 Honor the Lord with your possessions, And with the firstfruits of all your increase; 10 So your barns will be filled with plenty, And your vats will overflow with new wine.

In my little days as a minister of the gospel of Christ, one thing that I have known and understand is this, honour will take you far. Honour is not about proximity, it is deeper in nature and character than what many people think. This is how prophet Isaiah put it:

Isaiah 29:13 Therefore the Lord said: “Inasmuch as these people draw near with their mouths And honor Me with their lips, But have removed their hearts far from Me, And their fear toward Me is taught by the commandment of men.

You can be close and disregard the person or God in your heart.  You can give offering and sow seed without honour. What we give or sow as seed looses it's value without honour.  It is honour that give life to anything we do in this Kingdom. So when next you want to give, make sure it is with honour. Spread your money, give new notes, dress properly when coming to church. It starts from such little way.

Until honour is attached to your Kingdom practices, it loses it's value no matter what it cost you. People's giving does not produce their desired result most time because there is no honour or faith attached to it. It's time to sow your seed in honour and not anyhow. With God, there is protocol for everything. Make sure with your service, is a great honour to God.
