I Timothy 6:12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.

You have been called to defend your faith in Christ Jesus. You cannot afford life to dictate to you how your life should go, stair the cause of your life in the direction of God's plans and purposes for your life. Remember, faith is the substance of the things you hope for, the evidence of what's to come.

Faith is what please God, not only this, you also live by the same. In other words, without faith, there is no life. Why, the Bible says "the just shall live by faith". The just cannot live without it, so faith is essential for our living and winning. Your fight is not to get faith, but to maintain the same. Every child of God is born with faith in their heart.

I John 5:4 For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith. 5 Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?

It is through faith that we experience all that we have been given in Christ. This is why we fight the fight of faith using all the instruments of our faith.  You maintain your confession, you rejoice in the Lord concerning His promises. We walk in love, because faith works through love. Learn to fight the fight of faith.
